Overview

The neighborhood
Transportation. Giborim sits in the heart of Bat Yam’s renewal zone, on the Red Line of the Tel Aviv Light Rail — the line that begins in Bat Yam and runs through Jaffa and the Old North up to Petah Tikva, connecting five municipalities across 34 stations. The nearby Balfour and Jabotinsky stations put the beach (a short walk away), Jaffa and central Tel Aviv within a direct ride. Several Israel Railways lines also serve Bat Yam, linking south to Ashdod and Ashkelon and north toward Herzliya.
Community. Bat Yam is the capital of Israel’s urban-renewal wave, a coastal city remaking itself around a young, quality population, with the municipality rebuilding education, transit and services to match. It offers genuine seafront living with more space and value than central Tel Aviv, one train stop away.
Schools & services. The surrounding streets hold Bat Yam’s municipal kindergartens, elementary schools and community services, currently being upgraded as part of the renewal. The Bat Yam promenade, beach and the city’s cafés and commerce are within walking distance of the towers.
